Surfer reveals how he escaped the deadly predator

Jack told Swellnet that he first hit the shark on its head. However, when it didn't work he further said, "I started punching it in the side towards the gills and I must have got one punch in where it’s touch sensitive and it just shot down into the depths."

The shark threat is not over yet!

After Jack was rushed to hospital shortly after the shark attack, a white shark was spotted lurking near the shore after the attack, and beach safety was alarmed about the sighting.
