Historic Achievements of the legendary John Madden

The one coach who never had a losing season, John Earl Madden was an American football head coach for the Oakland Raiders. Madden recently passed away on December 28 this year. Let's have a look at the things he has achieved throughout his career. 

Super Bowl XI 

Madden's Raiders beat the Minnesota Vikings at Super Bowl XI, making it the biggest achievement of Madden's career.

Emmy Awards 

Madden has even won the Emmy Award 12 times for his work as a broadcaster.

1984 NSMA 

John Madden also won the NSMA National Sportscaster of the Year in 1984. 

 Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award 

Later in 2002 he won the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. 

Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame 

Coming to the Hall of fame categories, Madden was inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame (class of 1991).

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Next in 2006 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (class of 2006). 

California Hall of Fame

And in 2009 Madden was inducted into the California Hall of Fame (class of 2009). 

2010 NSMA

At the 2010 NSMAs John Earl Madden was the Hall of Fame inductee.
