Basketball fans took note when Phoenix Suns player Kevin Durant recently published his "All-time starting 5" on social media. LeBron James and Michael Jordan manned the guard positions in the lineup, which also included Kevin Durant and the late Kobe Bryant in the forward positions and Hakeem Olajuwon in the centre.
The iconic Los Angeles Lakers centre Shaquille O'Neal was noticeably absent from Durant's list. did not make Durant's starting lineup despite an accomplished career and several honours. Shaq surprised everyone by accepting the exclusion and publicly congratulating Durant on being chosen.
He posted a response on his social media, praising Durant for his choices and acknowledging the strength of the team. “hell of a team right here,” wrote Shaq while sharing.
“Guess what? That means my plan is working…So notice I don’t go at everybody, I only go at dogs. So, when dogs get mad what do they do?… Before we start throwing blows, we’ll be like what you trippin’ on? And I’m gonna put it to the side…but see I don’t tell cats what I’m doing…when I say something I’m not trying to get personal, because I know how to get personal.”
Although there are currently no scientific explanations for why sportsmen experience frequent cardiac issues, experts advised that teams should be ready with the required gear. On the plus side, Bronny is coping well and has moved past the tragedy. The James family will make more formal statements later.
