Brandon Miller, 20, has become one of the most talked-about talents in the 2023 Draft class after Victor Wembanyama. Miller was selected with the second overall choice by Michael Jordan's Charlotte Hornets, which seems appropriate. The star, however, thought that his trash talking throughout the week leading up to the draft had secured him a position on the Hornets' roster.
Brandon Miller discussed many facets of his career before his freshman year on the most recent podcast episode of Podcast P with Paul George. Including the trash-talk story with MJ
“if you start with me I’ma finish it.” The host followed it up with Miller’s infamous trash talk to MJ during the pre-draft workout. The rookie immediately said, “He started it.” Furthermore, Miller responded whether the trash talk fetched him the #2 spot in the draft. He added, “I think [trash talk] kind of showed another side of me…I don’t think he thought I was gonna say anything to him just because you know he is Michael Jordan.”
The Hornets star had a different response when the presenters asked players to choose between James and MJ during NBA Draught week. Miller revealed his GOAT, who was not Michael Jordan, despite his preference for the Akron Hammer. The celebrity chose Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers as the greatest player ever.
