The Busch Light Clash earlier this week was a chaotic one. Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch ended up frustrated despite finishing third. The reason behind that was 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano.
In the 86 lap of the Los Angeles Coliseum, Logano was guilty of ramming into Busch, sending the latter for a spin. While it didn’t stop Busch from a podium finish, the 37-year-old wasn’t happy with the Team Penske driver’s approach.
Richard Childress Racing crew chief Randall Burnett, told the radio chatter during the race, “Welp. He’s doing stupid sh** like he normally does. Shocker.”
”Logano didn’t get hit by nobody. He just flat-out drove through me so he’s got another one coming. I owe him a few.”
“It’s really unfortunate to be raced by guys that are two-faced. We were in the TV booth earlier in the night together, and when were all done with that he was like ‘Hey man, good luck tonight.’”
“And I’m like, ‘Okay, great, thanks, yeah, whatever,’ and then lo and behold, there you go, he wrecks me. It’s just, don’t even talk to me if you’re gonna be that kind of a**hole on the racetrack.”
