Kyle Larson has won multiple races this season in multiple series, as the 2021 Cup Series champion is pretty much obsessed with races.
Meanwhile, he recently received the best driver nomination at the ESPYS. However, fans are divided by this news.

Larson is currently driving the #5 Camaro for HMS in the Cup Series. Apart from that, he takes part in the Xfinity and Truck Series as well. He also races in major sprint and midget events like the Kings Royal, Knoxville Nationals, and Chili Bowl Nationals. Safe to say, Larson is pretty active on the racing circuits.
Larson receives the best driver nomination
Last year, Larson won the ESPYS for the best driver. This year, he received a nomination once again. So far, Larson is in 9th place in the Cup Series Standings. However, he has already qualified for the playoffs after bagging wins in Richmond and Martinsville. Moreover, he won the All-Star race as well. It’s certainly a possibility that he bags the ESPYS once again this year.
Many fans felt either Kyle Busch or Williams Byron should have been selected. One fan wrote, “Absolutely terrible list for the best driver of the year.” One more fan wrote, “NASCAR is kyle busch if you’re talking about this year it’s between Bayron or Busch.” Another fan vouched for Larson, saying, “Well in 2022-23 tied for most wins with 5, since 2020 has most wins of anyone with 15, since 2019 has 2nd most wins with 16 only Hamlin with 18 has more.”
