Recently, a reputed journalist revealed the “impressive” sponsor money the Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin co-owned team was pulling this year. Considering it has only been three years since the Bubba Wallace starrer team stepped into the sport, things look pretty good from the finance side of things.
In a Twitter post, that had Wallace’s picture, journalist Adam Stern mentioned, “@23XIRacing has around $30 million in sponsor revenue for this year, a fairly impressive haul for a third-year NASCAR team.“
With their finances in place, it’s time to show some results. Throughout their existence, Bubba Wallace has never made it to the playoffs. It was their other driver, Kurt Busch, who, with his win at Kansas Speedway, earned a spot in the 2022 playoffs. But, after his retirement from full-time racing, the responsibility now falls on the new intake; Tyler Reddick.
Fans displayed a sense of mixed reactions. Some support the team and Bubba Wallace for the impressive $30 million number. Meanwhile, others criticized the poor performance of the team despite having a relatively high cash flow.
