Sir Nick Faldo and Jim Nantz interviewed Woods during the third round of the 2022 Genesis Invitational. Nantz kept on asking Tiger if he would attend the 2022 Masters or not.
Woods said, “I don’t know, I’ll be there Tuesday, and it will be a great dinner. I don’t know what kind of sushi we are going to have!”
It is a tradition to host the Champions Dinner every Tuesday of the Masters’ week. The dinner is exclusive for only the previous champions of the tournament and the Chairman of Augusta National.
The Champion of the previous year’s event has the honor to pick the menu of the dinner. Woods chose his first menu when he was just 22 years old; the GOAT had won the Masters when he was 21-years-old in 1997.
“I can play that kind of stuff,” Woods said while answering Nantz’s question when he asked whether the golfer could play the Par 3 Contest.
