Jonathan Owens is grinding through intense Chicago Bears training camp, where competition has been fierce. The safety battles for his roster spot are in a highly competitive atmosphere under a new coaching staff. Sunday, August 10, Chicago faces Miami at Soldier Field for their first preseason game at noon, giving Owens his first chance to prove himself this season, and Simone Biles is all in for it.
Simone Biles uploaded a story on her Instagram today that might reveal what she might be wearing to one of these games, or a cute couple outfit, but a Chicago Bears one, for her and Owens, you never know. She shared a photo on her Instagram story showing off a custom outfit made by @glamourlyssdesign to support her husband, NFL player Jonathan Owens. He plays for the Chicago Bears and wears number 36. The outfit includes a white tank top with 36 in bold orange and a white bucket hat with Owens stitched on it in black.
There are also two skirts in the story: one is navy gingham with a small 36 patch, and the other is denim with a big Bears logo, the number 36, and Bears stitched underneath. To finish the look, there are two headbands, one that says Owens and one with a red glittery 36, plus a cute custom hair clip with his name on it. It’s a creative and personal way Simone shows her support on game day. In another one of her stories, she could also have been seen with the man, Jonathan Owens himself, on the football field.

On November 28, she flew by private jet to Detroit to cheer him on during the Bears vs. Lions Thanksgiving game, sharing stories mid-flight, one captioned, “otw to Detroit for some Thanksgiving football.” Simone has been a regular presence at Owens’ games, showing her style support. She has worn a black and orange jacket featuring the Bears logo and “CHI Town,” with “bear down” and Owens’ name and number, 36, stitched on the back.
On another occasion, she sported a custom two-piece set covered in pictures of Owens and his jersey number. The couple also shares a pre-game ritual. Simone said, “I just let him do him because I know how stressful that can be sometimes. But he loves to come see me because he usually has to stay at the team hotel, so he loves to come see me, kiss me goodbye.” Last year, Simone went all out supporting Jonathan and his team—fans are eager to see how she will surprise him this season.
